Start the fires of ignorance; burn it for Theophilus
Sifting through enigmas, historical revisions
Searching for that which has been burned
Lost to imperialism, wars fought in the name of religion
Great tomes whose pages can't be turned

Hypnotized and featureless
Claiming evil just
Blood of one, fair game for all
The alibi of the damned
In short: the cards in favor
In long: the bane of man
Just as ants circle round tirelessly as they seal their own demise
So will we fall in line with the herd to go extinct before our time
As the king of the rats takes his perch on the tangles of our tails
So will he fall to hordes below as civilization fails
Empires destroy themselves without empiricism
The fires of delusion destroy your salvation
We are an auto-immune response catalyzing the end of a dying world
The antibodies destroying tissues;
Our role in this destruction is now unfurled
Suspended in a sunbeam, this malignant planet chokes to death
With smog-filled skies, our planet dies;
This Eden gasps its final breath
